Genesis Equipment, in conjunction with Mitsubishi Brisbane, have been working hard on engineering the future in workshop spaces and transforming the Mitsubishi Brisbane division of their Australian Technical Training Centre facility.
Working closely with Mitsubishi, we have delivered on an intensive construction time frame for the installation project, delivering an automotive servicing facility that will complement Mitsubishi’s commitment to ongoing training.
The new training centre, now located at Tingalpa, will be the venue for further enhancing the capabilities of Mitsubishi’s dealer and servicing personnel, while simultaneously improving work efficiency and productivity through various trainings and simulations of daily operations.
With the automotive industry progressing at a rapid rate, Mitsubishi chose to pre-empt the evolution and future proof their business in anticipation of the increase technology and servicing growth requirements. On top ensuring a smooth move from South Brisbane to Tingalpa, Genesis Equipment supplied and installed 2 post vehicle lifts, workstation benches as well as mobile work benches for the project.
Strong local business advocate and Technical Training Centre Manager of the Mitsubishi, Nigel Palmer said, “So often businesses outgrow their facilities inside 4-6 years, and the cost is unsustainable. We have a strong vision for the next decade and beyond, so we chose the strategy of sustainable investment within reliable technology now, knowing it will pay off in the long run.”
Mitsubishis’ new Technical Training Centre servicing facility is the latest in Australia to install the Werther 2 Post Hydraulic Lifts. The highly sophisticated yet simple and dependable design requires very little service or maintenance for an overall lower cost of ownership and increased longevity. Coupled with the added safety features for their staff and increased benefits for education in safety, Mitsubishi see their investment as a safe bet.
Stephen Clifford, Sales Manager at Genesis Equipment said, “Mitsubishi Australia is ahead of his time. We engineered their vision and shaped the Brisbane workshop into a benchmark facility that has impressed Mitsubishi Australia wide.”
The new Brisbane centre is set to launch in late September.
