Genesis is behind every QuickJack in Australia

Genesis Equipment is the exclusive Australian distributor, so every QuickJack sold here comes through us, including the ones you will find at our authorised dealers. We hold the parts, the pinch-weld blocks, the frame extensions and the adapter kits, and we are the team to call when you want to know which model fits your vehicle. The 6000 and 8000 models carry Automotive Lift Institute certification to ANSI/ALI ALCTV.

How a QuickJack works

Position the two lightweight frames under the vehicle, press raise on the pendant control, and the car is clear of the floor in seconds. Safety locks engage automatically at mid-rise and full-rise. The frames collapse to a low profile and store flat against a wall, and with no cross members the whole underbody stays open — which is what separates a QuickJack from a trolley jack and stands.

Which QuickJack model should you buy?

Model SKU Capacity Frame length Lowered height Max lifting height Lift-point spread
BL-3500SLX 5175012 1,588 kg 1,588 mm 76 mm 533 mm 686–1,283 mm
6000TL 5175627 2,722 kg 1,778 mm 76 mm 610 mm † 940–1,524 mm
6000TLX 5175628 2,722 kg 1,930 mm 76 mm 610 mm † 1,092–1,676 mm
8000TL 5175659 3,629 kg 1,797 mm 89 mm 622 mm † 940–1,524 mm
8000TLX 5175677 3,629 kg 1,930 mm 89 mm 622 mm † 1,092–1,676 mm

† Maximum lifting height is not measured on a like-for-like basis across the range, so treat that column as a guide rather than a direct comparison. The 6000 and 8000 models reach the figure shown with blocks stacked: the 6000TL and 6000TLX also quote 520 mm on medium blocks and 546 mm on tall blocks, and the 8000TL and 8000TLX quote 533 mm and 552 mm. The BL-3500SLX does not use blocks the same way, quoting 419 mm frame-only and 533 mm maximum.

Short version: the BL-3500SLX is for race cars and low-stance vehicles. The 6000TL covers most passenger cars, and the 6000TLX does the same for long-wheelbase vehicles. The 8000TL and 8000TLX are the ute, four-wheel-drive and SUV models, the TLX again being the long-wheelbase version. If you are between two, call us — the answer usually comes down to wheelbase and where the lift points sit.

Accessories worth knowing about

Pinch-weld blocks and pucks, low-profile blocks for extra clearance, the crossbeam adapter, the frame extension kit and the motorcycle adapter kit all fit the current range, and the wall hangers set takes the frames off the floor entirely and allows you to mount them on the wall.
