The Ranger LS45DS takes much of the manual measuring out of wheel balancing. It is designed for busy tyre shops, dealerships, performance workshops and service centres where technicians want more automation and clearer guidance on every wheel.
Built-in sonar reads wheel diameter, width and offset automatically through 3D auto data entry, which cuts setup time and the errors that come from measuring by hand. Once the spin is finished, a Laser-Spot marks where each weight goes, at 6 o’clock for stick-on weights and 12 o’clock for clip-on weights, so placement is accurate first time and comebacks are reduced.
The LS45DS handles wheels from 305 mm to 610 mm (12 to 24 inches) in diameter and up to 508 mm (20 inches) wide, with assemblies up to 66 kg. An open-side hood, low-RPM operation and an average cycle of around seven seconds keep the bay moving.
