The Ranger R980XR is a swing-arm tyre changer with a 30-inch clamping capacity, built for general tyre work across a wide spread of wheels, from passenger cars and utes to racing tyres with beads that seat easily.
Because the swing-arm design sits closer to the wall than a tilt-back machine, the R980XR suits workshops where floor space is tight. It clamps wheels from 10 to 30 inches on the inside jaws and handles tyres up to 1,270 mm (50 inches) in diameter.
A reversible electric turntable, pneumatic bead breaker with an adjustable multi-angle blade and TurboBlast bead seating cover the core of daily tyre service. It works equally well as a workshop’s main machine or as a second unit alongside an assist-tower changer.
